VetSkill is an SQA Accreditation-Accredited Awarding Body!
Breaking news! We are absolutely delighted to announce that VetSkill has now been officially accredited by Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) Accreditation as an awarding body with five approved qualifications.
On 28 August 2024, VetSkill received accreditation as an awarding body and approval from SQA Accreditation for five key veterinary nursing and animal care sector qualifications. This means that providers in Scotland will now be able to offer these high-quality qualifications, adding to our growing portfolio of centres across the UK and inspiring Scottish learners.
We are delighted to now be able to share this highly anticipated achievement, which is the result of many months of hard work by the VetSkill team ensuring our awarding body’s processes and procedures align with SQA Accreditation’s regulatory principles, reviewing our qualifications for suitability for the Scottish market, providers and learners, and credit scoring our qualifications against the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF).
Sam Double, Director of Operations, shares:
“We are immensely proud to be accredited as an SQA Accreditation awarding body, and we are excited to be bringing five of our qualifications to Scottish providers and learners. This approval further emphasises VetSkill’s commitment to providing highly respected qualifications that inspire success across all nations in the UK. We would like to thank the team at SQA Accreditation for their support during this process!”
Greg Warman, CEO of VetSkill, says:
“Receiving accreditation as an awarding body by SQA Accreditation and having qualification approval for a suite of our qualifications has been one of VetSkill’s main goals since establishment, so this is a real milestone for the company and a huge achievement for our team who have worked so hard to get here”.
